The monthly flea markets held at our location are Your community sales. We’d like to do what we can to help each one grow more popular. As a vendor, you can help make them more successful, and we can each do our part to get the word out.
Upon Registration you will receive a flyer designed to be put up in a local business or anywhere you think people will see it. You may even know a family member or friend who has a community bulletin board in their place of business. If not, please be sure to pass it on to someone as a way of helping them remember to attend.
We’ll also send you some postcards that you may pass out to your friends, family members, co-workers, or any other acquaintances.
Here is some more information on how to get the word out about this and future yard sales:
ADVERTISING:
- We will advertise for the event in general in area newspapers.
- We will send monthly reminders to everyone on our email list.
- We will send periodic mailings to everyone on our mailing list.
- You may place additional advertisements if you wish to more thoroughly promote your own items.
EVENT PROMOTION:
WHAT WE WILL DO . . .
- We will promote each event verbally and on local websites with free event listings.
- We will have flyers, postcards, and business cards available at each event. Vendors who pre-register will automatically receive a vendor packet with promotional materials already included for them to pass out, and are always welcome to request more.
- We will maintain a website for our business that we update regularly. Information about the upcoming and future yard sales will always be available. As vendors register, we’ll put a list of the items they plan to sell, along with some pictures, on our website.
WHAT YOU CAN DO . . .
- Many people have told us that they were referred to us by other customers. Be sure to tell those you come in contact with about our yard sales.
- If each vendor invites people to our sales, their efforts will bring more buyers for all of us. You can also suggest that they contact us to join our email list (preferred) or mailing list so we can send periodic reminders about future sales.
- You may contact us anytime from the time you register until the event date to update your list of items for sell. Please keep in mind that the more information we can give our potential buyers, the more likely we are to attract them.
- If you wish, you may email us up to five pictures to represent the items you will sell, and we will put them on our website. You may also give us the prices of a few of your bigger or unique items for us to put on our website.
